Another update!

1) Tsunami Fund Raiser at The Bull, Barton, Beds
2) Gigs over the next few weeks

We must be busy, this is the third update in January:

1) Tsunami Fund Raiser at The Bull, Barton, Beds

Julie will be contributing to a Tsunami Fund Raiser at The Bull, Barton-le-Clay, Bedfordshire, UK on Saturday 5th February.

There will be a singaround and a series of half hour spotlights from an excellent line up. Provisional timetable is:

12.00 - John Birch/Bert Tann bluesbreakers (provisional)
12.30 - Start singaround/tune session
3.00 - Life and Times
3.30 - Continue singaround
5.00 - Bedford West Gallery Quire (provisional)
5.30 - Break
6.00 - Ross Scrivener
6.30 - Three Bernards
7.00 - Hilary Ward
7.30 - Mike Sparks
8.00 - Mick Pierce
8.30 - Christine Connolley/Steve Last
9.00 - Julie Ellison
9.30 - Break/raffle
10.00 - John Breeze/George Papavgeris
11.00 - Folkaholics

There will probably be a donation box for entry and a raffle - could be a fee for each song sung/tune played and fines - other ideas are being received.

There have been several new gigs confirmed since the 2005 preview was posted, so here is a summary of gigs over the next few weeks:

Wednesday 26 January - Tsunami Relief Fundraiser
with the excellent duo "Winter Wilson"

Thursday 27 January – Pub Crawl

Friday 28 January - Pub Crawl

Saturday 29 January - In Concert
Private event. This is a concert performance in front of an invited audience to mark the launch of a new charitable arts trust. We hope to be able to send more details on the arts trust and its objectives to Julie's mailing list shortly.

Friday 4 February - In Concert

Saturday 5 February - All Day Tsunami Benefit Event
The Bull, Barton-le-Clay, Beds
Starting time: 12:00pm
Finishing time: 11:30pm
Admission: Donations and raffle.   A fantastic day in prospect with a host of artists and a singaround. Julie is expected to do a 30 min set around 9pm but why not spend the day there?

Note: although the postal address for this venue is Banbury, the village is actually in Warwickshire between Banbury and Stratford-upon-Avon. This venue comes highly recommend so it will be worth finding!
