I am so sorry, My question was genuine but I would not have asked it had I thought that we would be subjected to such an abomination as the anon. thread above. I am NOT a sensitive flower by any means ( I don't know many nurses who are) but that is not IMO acceptable. We all know that much of the folk music we all love is about sex in it's many and glorious forms but one of the real joys of it is it's euphemistic language.

I have deliberated as to whether or not to give the writer the honour of a reply but I decided that to ignore it would be tantamount to condoning. I know that my Gay friends would be dismayed to read that piece of homophobic rubbish and I personally find it as offensive as any racist or sexist remarks. I just hope my skin is thick enough to withstand the ridicule I may now receive because I'm feeling a little fragile at the moment.
