Hi, In response to an earlier query I put out about the origins of "La Bastringue," someone who goes by the handle "Mitch the Bass" answered that he had a related tune called "Villez Vous Danse" in an 1810 manuscript from Lancashire/Derbyshire. So Mithc, if you're out there and reading this message, c1an you tell me more about this manuscript? Do you actually own the manuscript or is it in a library somewhere? How could I find a copy of that version of the tune? Many thanks, Anne
