I had a uke that I took the strings off of and painted white and trimmed with gold, I used it for a Christmas decoration. My first guitar was a Silvertone (from Sears) f-hole archtop sunburst. I gave it away when I got my first Yamaha classical. The same Yamaha classical, husband #2 pawned it when he decided he needed beer money more than I needed the guitar. $50 bucks was all he got. A hollow body f-hole archtop gold Gibson electric that husband #2 also pawned when he deciced that he needed the money more than I needed the guitar. $50 bucks for that one too.
