The Homecoming concerts at Occidental College in the early 60's were: '61 - some new group of youngsters - Peter, Paul and Mary. '62 - Bud and Travis - they basically re-did the Concert - one or two new jokes would have been good, but music was great. A folk show in LA also played the records of the Mexican duo that B&T used for their arrangements. (or was it the other way round? I forget.) '63 - Tito Puente - went to the Ash Grove instead. Also, Dick Dale's Friday shows at the Pasadena Civic were good too, but the Ash Grove became the plave to be for me. Come to the Friday night jams at the Folk Era offices - good group.
