I was born on March 24, 1960, and my father gave this record to my mother on my first birthday. She made a tape of it, and preserved the album in its pristine condition. We also got Volume 2.

I grew up on the Santa Monica concert recording, and love it as much today as ever. B&T were tops.

Over the decades my favorites have changed radically. Loving the loud songs when I was a kid, the ultra romantic ones when I got into my teens, and now, the more complex ones like All My Sorrows, The Clock and Every Night When the Sun Goes In.
