I am pleased to find that I may not be the oldest kid on the block. We got our first TV around 1950 back when there were few channels and transmission ended around midnight. I loved the cowboy movies on FRONTIER PLAYHOUSE. There are a few shows I'd love to see again
One of my favorites was a short lived series called something like Emergency Room. It starred Elliot Gould and the actress who plays Stands With a Fist in "Dances With Wolves", Mary something.
Here, in Philadelphia, we had a unique show. The local CBS affiliate produced a live action western program called "Action in the Afternoon". Because the show was performed outside the station, occasionally the viewers could see a bus or truck in the background of an old west shootout. I'd pay a pretty penny to see that again.
