I spent St. Pat's night singing to a mixed crowd in Ontario and there was no animosity, provided you steer clear of "party songs". Last night I played to another crowd( all catholic' again no out and out republican songs , just good folk songs from Ireland, Scotlnd, Canada, America, England etc. Tonight I'm off to perform at a Newfoundland Dinner and I don't know what to expect except good food, good company among the friendliest people on the planet. As an aside the main difference between Rebel Songs and Loyalist songs is that a great percentage of Rebel Songs are Pro-Irish whereas a great percentage of Loyalist songs are Anti-catholic.
