An Ancestor - James ADAMS - was a "Loyalist Scot" who came up on the losing end of the Battle of Dunbar in 1650.
They sent him over to Saugus Mass. as an indentured servant, where he worked at the Iron Works until it went belly-up several years later.

Somehow I think this conversation is about another place, another time... Although I've often wondered what kind of songs he might have sung.
