I took two holidays a year in the Republic of Ireland before the Smoking ban, haven't been back since, and won't be. Spoke to a friend who owns a small hotel in Navan and it's hitting his pocket dammed hard.Anyway it's cheaper to go to Europe, I am just back from France and enjoyed my smoke everywhere. We used to have closet homosexuals in Ireland, the closet door was opened they came out and the smokers went in.I vote with my pocket, great to see the tourist trade down over Easter in Ireland.Two public houses in Belfast banned smoking last year, trade went through the floor, our local news reported that they reversed the ban two months ago.Please smokers don't get angry, just stay away from these people that tell you what you can and can't do. Hit their pocket.
