For those of you who liked Dorris's work, and are interested in hearing some of the stuff she recorded over the last year of her life, I can supply copies of Blues on The Loose at The Moose, which was recorded live in Basingstoke in June 2004 and the very last recordings she made in Sept 2004 - which are more in line with Dorris' folk sensibilities and that CD is called Let It Shine.

If anyone is interested in either of these CDs, contact me at Baldheadtim@aol.com and things can be arranged. Mac McGann has specifically asked me to handle such requests. Whilst I'm prejudiced in my love of these two CDs (both because they are Dorris and also because I play on them!), I have to say that anyone who loved Dorris' unique style will not be disappointed.

I had the very great pleasure of playing with Dorris both back in the 70s (with her own re-incarnation of Eclection and more recently over the last 5 years during the recording of Here I Go Again and at gigs round West London. I miss her more than I can really express.
