Bat Goddess, what a great name. Re: The Spaniel I have the poem in a paperback Mad collection in my garage and was hoping I wouldn't have to go dig it out. But since there are now TWO people that want to read it (you and myself) I guess I'll have to go get it. I think it starts out something like this: Once upon a midnight cautious, while I pondered nearly nauseous over some advertising copy I had wrote for Macy's store...
