There was once this ode to Chairman Mao, written and "sung" by Ewan MacColl, which was excruciatingly painful, with lines that sound like "Baghdad Bob" could have written them (other than being about a communist instead of a secular dictator). Poor or non-existent rhymes, lines with so many syllables over the number allowed that they sounded like a parody by Tom Lehrer, and a tune that seemed to have 18 notes per octave. Gaaahhh! I can't remember enough to give you a typical line, but I'm certain someone will, God help us! Bob
