Deepest condolences, Rosemary. We have lost a significant member of the folk heritage, a wonderful songwriter, brilliant performer and gracious gentleman of the old school. I have fond memories of Cyril, who was one of my inspirations to emerge from the audience and become a semi-professional singer from the mid-sixties to the end of the seventies. I was also priviledged enough to visit you and Cyril, Rosemary, in Plymouth together with Rod Stradling at the end of the sixties. I was sad to hear of his latest illness, as I too have been diabetic for the last ten years or so. I think he's taken the tidewave. Love and strength, Dave Calderhead
