Art, I'm pleased to know tumbleweeds shatter, cos wombats don't.
As they grow to 1 metre in length & 32 kilos in weight they basically go where they like. They can also travel up to 40km, presumably in bursts.
They like crossing roads & ambling along roads & staying put in the middle of roads & walking thru fences & gardens, well at least the ones that lived near my friends did.
