Ok this is for those of you such as Harpgirl who have decided that hubby and I are actually other people posting under concocted names. This could not be farther from the truth. I am a 41 year old born in Puerto Rico (dad was military). I met hubby in a most romantic way... I was asked to be the maid of honor at a friends' wedding July of '91 and hubby was her brothers roommate. So we met at the wedding. We have been married since May '92. We live in Texas, just having moved back from Oklahoma. Yes, I am a Sooner fan for those of you who want to know... the sooner I got out of Oklahoma the happier I was! Now while I do not dispute that their are people who make up other names to make multiple posts, we are not like that, the only reason I do not post my actual name is because that can be very dangerous on the web. We had a house fire in June of last year so I will need to look for photos that I can put on this site so that you can see that we are REAL. Right now a lot of them are in storage, and sadly my truck is in the shop... I hit a cow on the highway by our house and it did a considerable amount of damage ($7315 worth). So if you see a post from Susu or Susu's hubby I assure you that it is from us, we do not post under any other monikers - that is immature. Also, if you look for my first post you will see that I posted the lyrics to the 12 daze of Christmas, I found the site while searching google looking for funny Christmas lyrics, and then I introduced the site to hubby so that he could read a religious thread I started. He then started posting own my moniker but eventually got his own. Some people accused him of hiding behind my name, but he chose Susu's hubby because that was how he signed his posts prior to getting his own so that made him readily identifiable. I chose the name Susu because that is what all my friends and family call me since my first nephew made it up because he could not pronounce my name. We both have musical backgrounds, he was a music major at Oklahoma Baptist University and he was the interim music minister at our church for over 3 years. I sing at several venues in the D/FW area and have sung at the Oklahoma City Opry, as well as festivals and churches. While we do not always agree with what other people post here we have respect for their opinions, but just like everyone else when you are of the opinion that your views are right, it is hard to see the other side of things. Reality is all in a person's perception. My reality may not be your reality. Whatever helps you sleep at night you know? So while you may find others with multiple monikers, we will continue to post on our names only. I will update this thread once I have uploaded our pictures for any of you interested.
