If you find an existing thread on a song, there's no need to start another one. You can post lyrics and request chords or a tune in a Lyr req thread, and most people will find your request. And generally, it's a very bad idea to start a new thread to answer a question in an existing thread.

If you're responding with information that has already been posted, it's best to give a link to the location where you found the information. Copy-pasting information that's already here can really be confusing. There are exceptions, but generally it's not good to copy-paste stuff that has already been posted elsewhere.

I wonder if somebody might be able to convince Sh----es of the wisdon of that....

By clicking on the User Name, you will requery the forum for that user. You will see everything that he or she has posted with that Mudcat name.

By clicking on the Thread Name, you will be sent to the Forum on that thread as if you selected it from the main Mudcat Forum page.

By clicking on the Subject, you will also go to the thread as if you selected it from the original Forum page, but also go directly to that particular message.

By clicking on the Date (Posted), you will dig out every message posted that day.

Try it all, you will see.
