I am teaching the children in the Llantwit Major Grasshoppers country dance group how to dance La Russe. They've got the dance but we have a difficulty with the tune. The tune is in two parts the first in G the second in D. So when it finishes it sounds not quite right as it finishes on a D chord.
There are a few of these two key tunes around. Whats the best way to finish them off? They always sound wrong. I end up putting a second tune in to make it all right.
