Steve, I assume that the first 'part' you are referring to is the first eight bars (or 'A' music), and the second 'part' the second eight bars (or 'B' music). If so, then the generally used way to make these tunes resolve is the last time through the tune to play: 2 'A's, 1 'B', 1 'A'. That way the tune resolves on the G chord. Beware if you are using the 'set' tune for La Rusee for dancing though - because the dance takes 64 bars and the tune is 32 bars. So, when the caller says 'last time' you need to play: 2'A's, 2'B's, 2 'A's, 1'B', 1'A'. Also, look at the tune 'Russian Cavalry' which is an alternative set tune for this dance and is 64 bars in length - all in G and no problem with the tune not resolving. Good Luck. Polly
