As an old Vietnam hand of the early '60s, I well remember a song sung around the bar of the Majestic Hotel. To the tune of "Rock of Ages," we sang: "We are winning, don't you know? General Harkins, tells us so. In the Highlands, things are rough. In the Delta, things are tough. But the Vee-Cee, they will go. General Harkins, tells us so." followed by... "If you doubt it, shame on you.. MacNamara says so too." Does anyone know the second verse? I believe there was one. This was sung in association with "The Yellow Rose of Saigon," which is in the Mudcat archieves. I have an Iraq version ready to roll, but I wanted to check this out first.
