Dear Micca, I have a friend that had his gall bladder removed by keyhole surgery a couple of years ago. He was only in the hospital for a day and a night and got better very quickly. He is fine now, just takes lecithin from time to time which is this thing (mineral?) that helps the body to process fats. That's great that you have no diet restrictions because I imagine that would be a real pain!! Emmie
