In this there is something called "Facing the Music" about reform of Music Licensing. There is also something called "Live Music - a Step by Step Guide". The Musicians Union has a "Live Music Kit"- How to apply for live music, how to source professional acts, how to contact musicians, matching the act to the venue, promotional tips and payment of artists. See Musicians Union web site www.musiciansunion.org.uk.   Postcards have been sent to 35,000 licensees advising them of this kit.
