Intersting tangent isn't it, to go to Deep Purple from Zep. I mean, Zep really did tons of amazing covers of blues and folk music, but Deep Purple started out that way too. Particularly when they were in their first "art rock" incarnation, with Shades of Deep Purple and the one with the Bosch (sp?) painting on the cover. The later "metal" stuff from "In Rock" on was great too, though it took me awhile to get used to. But from those guys to diggin' Zep wasn't much of a stretch. sb
