Glasson Dock Festival will take place from July 1 to 3 with a wide variety of activities throughout this seaside village near Lancaster.

Concert events at the Village Hall are as follows:

Friday Evening from 8.30pm - £10
Rory McLeod - Sharon King and the Nevernever Cowboys - Flamin' Ada

Saturday Afternoon from 1pm - £10
Martin Simpson - Kathryn Roberts and Sean Lakeman - Pete Ball

Saturday Evening from 8pm - £12
Craobh Rua - howdenjones - Invocal - Emma and the Professor

Sunday Afternoon from 2pm - £6
Artists to be confirmed

If tickets for all four concerts are purchased a £6 discount will be applied ie a weekend ticket for £32.00

There will be sessions in the Dalton Arms from 9.30pm on Friday and Saturday night.

Kathryn Roberts will be leading a Saturday morning vocal workshop in the Dalton between 10 and 11am and there will be a Sunday morning fiddle workshop with Sarah Cheffins between 10.30 and 12 noon.

Entertainment at the Victoria Inn will include Abbie Lathe from 9pm plus a Saturday morning workshop in bodhran from Emma and the Professor between 11am and 12noon. On Sunday morning
Will Morgan will hold a 'Meet the M/C' session between 10 and 11am with tales and tunes.

Around the village there will also be story telling with the Wizardmarra (Saturday 11am to 2pm), children's entertainers and workshops, craft stalls, Irish dance, face painting, and amateur radio.

Camping will be available for Friday and Saturday nights at a cost of £5.00. Must be pre-booked

There is also a weekend beer festival running nearby at the Stork Hotel in Conder Green.
