Giok - thanks for the great link!!! You may have found me my source for the hammered dulcimer I want. Comments from anybody on the makers/quality/sound by Rick Thum, Songbird, or TK O'Brien? At Song of the Sea they actually have 3-4 to choose from that are in (what I think is) an appropriate price range for a 1st purchase by someone who has yet to learn to play the instrument in question. Unfortunately, they don't have sound clips for any of them. I'm looking at the lower cost models. . . obviously! I know this is serious thread drift - but any comments would be appreciated. BTW - if I know about is long enough in advance I'd be up for a trip to Bar Harbour to get to meet some 'Catters! Cheers PB
