Was listening to the radio this am and the point made was that much of the comedy and rhyme used by Shakespeare in his writings no longer works due to the change of pronounciation In fact turns out as gobbledegook A change to the original more akin to Brum and West Country should restore some of the rhymes etc and perhaps unearth the comedy etc Good luck to them all My native Barnsley accent is available to anyone who wishes broad Yorkshire authenticity!! Ray
