If two people witness the same event first hand then there shouldn't be any confusion We get our facts mostly second-hand, after the story has passed through some editor's hands. We get another perspective presented to us as facts, as a result. How we perceive that (... if we perceive that), will depend on how we react to it. .. and often will determine whether we think we need to use our experience and common-sense, or not.
