I travelled up to Caernarfon on my bike from South Wales,about 175 miles. It was a fantastic sunny early morning and I seemed to get there in no time at all. Coming back it started to get dark by the time I got to Brecon and it felt like hours before I reached the turning to Caerphilly. In fact 35 miles.
