Anyone had any..... puffballs. I have. They're yummy. You take a wedge out of the 14-18 inch diameter puffball. Slice thinly, fry till golden brown. Serve with chips! The next day the puffball will have "healed" itself, leaving a cute little seam where your wedge came from. I picked mine on an old flood meadow. They are very hard to find though. They seem to grow their fruit only every 3 or 4 years. Which, of course, makes them even tastier!
