seeking origin of lyrics he sang in Up in Arms (when it's cherry blossom time in orange, new jersey, we'll make a peach of a pear, even though we cantaloupe...) attributed in the credits to sylvia fine as the "Theater Lobby Number" but i think there is an earlier, possible vaudeville or burlesque connection. anyone know?
