followed by the opening riff of the song.

(By the way, does that little 3-line musical riff have a name or a source? It's been used in so many settings, especially the last 6-note line, which was used all the time on Laugh-In among many others.)

And I believe it was at Woodstock that they did the cheer using a different 4-letter word starting with F.
