Got back last night through thunder, lightning and torrential rain and am now thoroughly exhausted! Another Fylde success, lots to do, lots to see and hear but too many venues too difficult to access using walking aids. Managed to get to Hughie Jones at the Museum but that proved too much physically. Great hour though with great songs and stories.

Was able to get to the superbe Friday Night concert and the even more superbe Saturday night (line up above) - what a weekend and the icing on the cake was the Alan Bell concert after which we had to leave.

As we were leaving Gosport the radio presenter was saying "It's grim up north!" - It certainly wasn't, the sun shone on the Fylde and the the music is in our hearts. Thanks to Alan and his committee - see you next year as the fat lady did NOT sing!
