If you are really going to go through Mayo. Then you have to go to Lough Measc. The village I want you to visit is called TúrMhicEide. ( tourmakeady ). A most beautiful , peaceful place. Then visit john and judy Burke at their house Árd Aoibnínn.They rent out cotages too. They are lovely people, they know all the best local pubs with dancing and sessions ( hardly known ).john will even take you fishing on the lake.
