I've sung this song for years and also have the song book that presumably Stan proof read. I offer these corrections to the most recent posting of lyrics:

Light western airs (as was stated)

When the cod went so cheap but so plenty,

And the ones left behing, old, and tired, and blind. (Scans better too.)


I do think that the parties having at eachother in this thread might well consider that they are having issues about bullying while they actually bully eachother. Consider taking it to another thread, or, better yet, get over it. People interested in the song probably don't want to have to wade through the muck.
