I find this thread very confusing, this person Tam the Man who ever he is, speaks continually of Europe, which part of Europe does he mean. I live and perform all the time in EUROPE, and while I agree that many of the bands Isee here rely on notes, music stands and the like, I do not. I am very much of the persuation Seamus Kennedy enounced earlier. There is a world of difference between a profi, and a hobby musician, when large numbers of people pay to hear you they expect a different standard to an occasional singer in a session.
