Thanks to PennyBlack for the plug for Wigan Folk Club, which I organise. We run twice a week, Tuesdays at the Fox & Goose, and Thursdays at the Seven Stars. See Wigan Folk Club
for addresses and small maps. We run on a singaround basis at both venues, an open music policy with a very eclectic mix of performers / performances - anything goes, and you'll be most welcome.

While you're on the folk club website, click through to 'Folkal Point', which gives listings of what's on folkwise in the region.
