Hey, I just realized that if I wanted to, I could see a hockey game live. I'm now living in Santa Clara, which is next door to San Jose. And I've heard that for some inexplicable reason they have a hockey team there. Not sure it's the NHL, though...I checked the schedule and they're playing these teams with weird names like Wild and Thrashers. Now I know that there are people who thought the NHL went irretrievably downhill in 1967 when they expanded beyond the Canadiens, Maple Leafs, Bruins, Red Wings, Rangers, and Black Hawks...but I think they've gone way over the edge. (Actually I thought naming a team after a movie was way over the edge...especially in a town where Santa Claus wears shorts and sunglasses.) Aloha, Mark
