I use a FG412 12 string, that I've had since 1978. I recently had a Headman pick up fitted. It sounds great natural or plugged in. I bought a Freshman 12 st earlier this year as a back up cos I get through strings at an alarming rate. Freshman seems better built and it has built in electrics AND Tuner, but it'll be a long time before it sounds as good as the Yam. I also have an Ozark 12st, thin body, cutaway, pickup, crap sound, crap action, CHEAP and Gorgeous as an ORNAMENT. It's a stunner to look at. Chris
