Isham Jones played regularly at the Edgewater Beach Hotel in Chicago thru the '20's. He and Gus wrote I'll See You in My Dreams over the phone - at least according to the biopic with Danny Thomas as Gus. My mother said she used to see Isham at dances and his band was one of her favorites. The Edgewater Beach Hotel was quite a place - it's still standing, but not much to it now. Chris in Wheaton
