Neil Comer Lyr Req: Crann Ull (24) RE: Lyr Req: Crann Ull 10 Jan 00

Sorry, the only reason that I wrote it in Irish is that Crann Úll can also be allegorical. Crann referring to a certain part of a male's anatomy and Úll referring to the two things beside it.I also apologised if this caused offence to anyone, none was neant. There is a school of thought which thinks this to be an allegorical song, and the translation of the chorus should show why. I could go on, but I don't wish to offend anyone else. Craoibhín Aoibhinn, although literally meaning a small branch, is sometimes seen as the previously mentioned part of a male's anatomy. This, by the way, is not a school of thought invented by me. Such phrases were collected by An tAth. Lorcán Ó Muireadhaigh in Omeath in the early 20 cent!! Beir bua Neil
