The 'obvously sassenach accent' is a bastardisation of my native 'Geordie', married to a Birkenhead lass for 12 years then married to a Dorset girl for 23 - In between is a career in the RN living for about 12 years in Cornwall' moi luvvrrrrrr!! Love your response Mr Red! I AM a poser! Ernest! I can't afford the full regalia - If I could I'd dress like Kenneth McKellar Today someone (I thought she was a lady) asked me what tartan I was wearing. "McDonald!" says I - "Oh!" says she, "Where do you keep your quarter-pounder?" I now have two kilts (McD & Black Watch) with an 'Anderson' on order. Not too keen on the sporran though - the tassles clatter as I walk and if it slips down it bangs me in the nuts. But I shall persevere - I love the thing to bits and can't wait for my first visit to Scotland in one And...... Thanks for your comments - Hope to see some of you at Fareham this coming Easter Hasta J P-B
