I joined a ballroom dancing school to learn the Tango,however that formed part of Silver medal course and just when I had passed the Bronze and my next lesson was to be the Tango ,I moved and never did learn it.My teacher was a stunning looker and a dream to dance with.
I joined a band shortly afterwards playing music for ballroom dancing and then as ballroom dancing declined moved my trumpet over for the concertina and Folk dancing.
My other wish is to tap dance and this is starting to form part of some workshops at Folk Festivals,perhaps Ballroom and American Swing dancing will follow.One of the best Swing dance evenings ever was at Cecil Sharp House.
