Arcady, Dervish, Altan, Beginish, Danu (made my head spin down @ Washington Irish Fest 99), Martin Hayes(with or without Dennis Cahill),Mick Moloney et. al., Nomos(who provided me with one of the most embarassing times of my life when I took a bodhran workshop with Frank Torpey), Patrick Street, Bothy Band, Kevin Burke's live solo CD, Paddy Keenan,Molloy Brady and Peoples, and finally, Mike and Mary Rafferty (the latter of Cherish the Ladies fame) do some stunning traditional East Galway stuff. I also whole-heartedly recommend seeing any of these musicians live if you get the chance. Another nobody mentioned is Moving Cloud. They have two decent CDs but you really must see them live. It all depends on what your looking for. I'm a bit of a traditionalist to whom Eileen Ivers and Solas sounds like nails on a chalkboard, but some people like them a lot. SLan, Rich
