maybe saunders is marginally more 'naturally' funny than french maybe dawn french is a good 'comic actor' rather than a natural comedienne and is only as funny as the scripts she performs.. maybe they cant write anything funny enough to be allowed to be given huge BBC budgets ?????? maybe its also a gender thing.. ..the wife thinks french and saunders are hilarious
