(Then thre bridge has something like the French, a description of the finery. . ., - that sort of thing.) With surprise, I saw the magi wise . . . . and scarce believed the sight before my eyes. For, lo, to guide them a star shone bright . . . For lo to guid them a star shone bright and on the manger shed its wondrous light. I remember the song -- these are bits and pieces from a children's collection, Diller Carols from Many Lands, I think, from maybe 50 years ago. Anyone have more?
