Eat your words EG. What about the Edinburgh Fringe? Yes I know there's also an International Festival, Book Festival etc. but those are really a 'fringe' to The Fringe which is itself by far the biggest Festival these days. Also if you look at other posts on this board the new Glasgow Fringe Festival, while being staged at the same time as the 'Celtic Connections' Festival, is, in truth, a Festival in its own right.
