I was in the music store today, and after seeing this thread, I just had to invest the 34 cents it cost to take one home and try it. My opinion: They are Just Plain Horrible. I have no idea whatsoever how anyone could appreciate using these, unless perhaps, you wanted to make brand new high quality strings sound like they are old, cheap and dirty.
