I for one being a reader of the Huddersfield examiner was never particular enamoured of the folk column as it tended to devote itself to one major concert, frequently outside the immediate area (understandably as there are few within the area) but did not devote much time to the week to week concerts at places such as The Cross Keys (Uppermill) or The Grove(leeds)again outside the area, but relatively easy to access Info on these and other venues in freely available should the columnist wish to search for it to inclde in their fortnightly offerings. I do not seek to offend Cath, sorry if you take this the wrong way, but the column did tend to follow "major" acts at the expense of "jobbing" folkies
