There is a supposedly-authentic report of the British army entering Tripoli during WWII being reviewed by Winston Churchill. The English units were singing "Hitler.. Rommell... Himmler.... Goebels". This brought a smile to Winston's mouth. Not to be outdone, the Scottish Highland Division marched through, singing, "The Ball of Kirriemuir". At this, Churchill broke into a broad grin. The Movietone News film had to be scrapped.
