As a child, i went to NSW Dept of Sport and Rec camps at Lake Keepit, near Gunedah. We learnt a version of Paddy McGinty's Goat - It had nothing in it about the goat being a Bill or the ladies from town or the race track incident but is obviously based on the traditional song. Paddy McGinty, an Irishman of note, Fell into a fortune and bought himself a goat, Now this very goat it had an appetite, And eary on morning it ate some dynamite, 6 box of matches, a pint of kerosene .... is all i can remeber. It only had 2 or 3 verses. Can anyone help with the rest?
